Nationwide Total Loss Appraisal Services

Insurance Company Offering Too Little for Your Totaled Vehicle?

Lucas Appraisal & Umpire Services LLC provides independent, remote total loss appraisal services nationwide. With 28 years of collision industry experience, we help policyholders challenge disputed insurance company vehicle valuations through applicable policy appraisal provisions.

We review CCC, Mitchell, and other valuation reports, research comparable vehicles, and develop independent assessments of actual cash value (ACV). Our services are available nationwide, with most assignments completed remotely.

You don't have to accept an insurance company's valuation without reviewing your options.

How Our Nationwide Total Loss Appraisal Process Works

1

Submit Your Insurance Valuation

Received a total loss settlement offer that seems too low? Contact us and provide your insurance company's valuation report, such as CCC or Mitchell. We'll review your situation and determine whether your policy provides an appraisal option.

2

Independent Vehicle Valuation

We conduct an independent review of your vehicle's actual cash value (ACV). Using market research, comparable vehicle listings, equipment, mileage, and condition, we develop a supported valuation to challenge an insurance company's total loss settlement offer.

3

Appraisal Clause Resolution

When an appraisal clause is available and properly invoked, we represent your valuation position as your independent appraiser. We work with the insurance company's appointed appraiser to determine an agreed actual cash value (ACV). If the appraisers cannot agree, the dispute may proceed to a neutral umpire as provided by the policy.
